There’s just something about a Surf Green ‘50s-style Strat that makes you want to leave it on a stand in the living room. This Classic Series ‘50s Stratocaster nails that vibe—round edges, creamy plastics, and that soft maple tint on the neck that looks like it’s lived under stage lights for decades.
From a few feet away, it looks absolutely stunning. Up close, you’ll see it’s been played and moved around enough to pick up some scars: bumps and scrapes on the headstock, finish marks and checking around the neck pocket, and scattered dings and surface scratches on the body (all clearly photographed). Nothing structural, nothing that affects playability—just honest wear that’s already done for you. If you’ve been hunting for this model but don’t want to pay “collector condition” prices, this is the one.
Specs are pure ‘50s Strat: alder body, soft “V” maple neck with a 7.25” radius maple fingerboard, 21 vintage-style frets, 25.5” scale, and a trio of vintage-style single-coil Strat pickups wired to the classic 5-way switch. The synchronized tremolo bridge feels smooth and expressive, and the whole guitar rings with that bright, chimey top end and bell-like attack you want from a proper ‘50s-inspired Strat. Plugged in, it delivers everything from glassy neck tones to that cutting bridge bite that slices right through a mix.
It plays like a dream and functions exactly as it should, so if you’re after a Surf Green Classic Series ‘50s Strat that looks great onstage, records beautifully, and won’t make you baby every little mark, this is a steal.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and fully insured
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
