This is one of those Strats that immediately feels “right” the second it’s in your hands. Classic ’60s vibe, rosewood board, and that timeless 3-Color Sunburst that looks good in literally any room, any stage, any collection. It’s a seriously great guitar—and I get why the previous owner hated to let it go.

This one is 60th Anniversary-era (2006 build) and carries that cool little commemorative detail on the headstock. The guitar is very good overall condition and plays extremely well with a professional setup—easy action, clean feel up the neck, and spot-on intonation.

Important condition note (pictured): there is a finish crack near the neck heel. It is finish-only and does not go into the wood—purely cosmetic, with no effect on stability or playability.

Where this Strat gets extra interesting is the spec and wiring:

  • Pickups: Stock Abigail Ybarra-initialed Custom Shop ’69 set (per the previous owner’s notes)
  • Wiring mod: Tone controls were rewired so Tone 1 controls neck + middle, and Tone 2 controls the bridge (a super practical upgrade if you actually use your bridge pickup)
  • Strings/Setup: Currently set up for 10–46
  • Cosmetic swap: It originally had a tortoise pickguard with cream covers/knobs—it’s currently dressed in all black.

If you want a Strat that nails the look, has the right feel, and is wired in a way that makes it more usable on stage (or in the studio), this one checks the boxes.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

Buying direct from me

I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.

Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.

Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
