One of a kind — when it's gone, it's gone.

This is a beautiful 2025 Fender American Vintage II ’65 Stratocaster in Shoreline Gold—a USA-made, vintage-correct Strat built around the look, feel, and tone of Fender’s mid-1960s era. The American Vintage II series is Fender’s higher-end historical reissue line, and this one captures the important ’65 details while still being an extremely practical guitar to own and play.

The Shoreline Gold finish is excellent in person. It has a soft champagne-gold metallic look that shifts depending on the lighting, with a subtle warm bronze tone that gives it much more character than a standard black, sunburst, or Olympic White Strat. Paired with the white pickguard, vintage-white plastics, and rosewood board, it has that clean, classy mid-’60s Fender look without feeling overly flashy.

Fender built these with an alder body, gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a 1965 “C” shaped maple neck, and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a proper vintage feel, but this particular one is especially nice in the hand. It has that slick, smooth feel people love from a well-finished Japanese Strat, but without the sticky or overly heavy gloss sensation. It feels fast, comfortable, and very easy to move around on.

The guitar is loaded with three Pure Vintage ’65 gray-bottom Strat single-coil pickups. They deliver exactly what you want from a good vintage-style Strat: clear top end, bell-like neck tones, glassy in-between sounds, and a bright, lively bridge pickup that still has enough body to be useful. It is a very articulate guitar overall, with excellent note separation and that unmistakable classic Fender response.

It also features Fender’s Pure Vintage synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles, vintage-style single-line Fender Deluxe tuners, vintage tall frets, and the traditional 7.25-inch fingerboard radius. It is a genuinely convincing ’60s-spec Strat, but one that has been set up to play exceptionally well.

This one is in excellent, near-like-new condition. The body and neck are exceptionally clean, the frets are excellent, and it was recently set up with spot-on intonation. The original protective plastic is still on the pickguard. There are no major dings, scratches, cracks, repairs, or damage to note. Everything is original, the electronics test perfectly, and it sounds amazing.

It includes the original Fender vintage-style hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, manuals, paperwork, tremolo arm, adjustment tools, and complete original case candy.
