This Fender American Vintage II ’61 Stratocaster (2022–Present) absolutely nails that era. The subtle creaminess of the Olympic White against the mint-green guard, the aged plastics, the rosewood slab board — it looks like it stepped out of 1961, but without the vintage price tag or fragility.
This isn’t just “vintage inspired.” The American Vintage II line is Fender going all-in on historical accuracy. You’re getting:
• Alder body
• Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish (that will age beautifully over time)
• Slab rosewood fingerboard
• 7.25” radius
• Vintage-correct ’61 “C” neck profile
• Pure Vintage ’61 pickups
• Vintage-style synchronized tremolo
And the tone is exactly what you’d expect from a great ’61: glassy top end, woody midrange, tight low end, and that unmistakable Strat quack in positions 2 and 4. The Pure Vintage ’61 pickups are clear and dynamic — they don’t get muddy, and they respond beautifully to pick attack. Roll the volume back and it cleans up effortlessly.
This one plays extremely well. It has a professional setup and feels dialed — smooth action, comfortable bends (even with the 7.25” radius), and a neck that feels alive in your hands.
Condition wise, it’s in very good condition. There are some bumps and chips here and there — honest wear — but nothing structural whatsoever. The most noticeable cosmetic issue is the surface burn on the headstock. The original owner intentionally did this going for a vintage cigarette-burn / road-worn aesthetic. It is purely cosmetic and does not affect the integrity of the neck or headstock in any way.
Aside from that, it presents beautifully. The light wear actually works with the nitro finish and gives it some character rather than that sterile “fresh off the wall” look.
Comes with the original hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity.
This is one of those guitars that feels broken-in already. Not abused. Just played.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–6 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
