This Fender American Original ’60s Telecaster is one of those guitars that immediately reminds you why the Tele formula has never needed fixing. Classic looks, old-school feel, and that unmistakable snap and authority that only a great Tele delivers.
Finished in 3-Color Sunburst with a rosewood fretboard, this one has aged extremely well. Condition is excellent overall. There are a couple small bumps on the front that are pictured and worth noting, but nothing that detracts from the look or vibe of the guitar. Outside of that, it’s genuinely close to like-new, with very light play time and no abuse. Frets show minimal wear and the top still has that clean, glossy depth you expect from a well-kept American Original.
Where this guitar really shines is the neck. It’s got that proper ’60s-style chunk—not a baseball bat, but substantial in the hand in the best way. It’s been professionally set up with thicker-gauge strings, and the combination is killer. Bends feel powerful, notes feel anchored, and it encourages you to dig in and play aggressively without fighting the instrument. It’s one of those necks that makes you want to keep playing longer than you planned.
Tasteful upgrades have been done to the knobs and pickguard, keeping everything period-correct in spirit while giving it a slightly refined look. The rest of the guitar remains stock and original, and it includes the ashtray bridge pickup cover as well as the commemorative 75th Anniversary neck plate, which is a cool touch for this era.
It comes with the original hardshell case and all the case candy, exactly as it should.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.
⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
