Excellent Condition
One of a kind — when it's gone, it's gone.

This Epiphone Nighthawk Custom Reissue is one of those guitars that reminds you how much personality the Nighthawk design really has. It is not just another single-cut. It has its own thing going on — a sharper, sleeker body shape, a carved Fireburst top, a longer-feeling stage-ready silhouette, and one of the most versatile pickup layouts Epiphone has put into this style of guitar.

This one is in excellent condition and presents extremely well. The Fireburst finish has that bold red-to-dark edge look that really jumps in photos, especially with the figured top showing through underneath. The cream binding, black pickup rings, gold reflector knobs, split parallelogram-style inlays, and bound headstock give it a much more upscale look than you usually expect in this price range. There is a small indentation on the top/back area of the headstock, but otherwise this one is very close to like-new overall.

The real magic here is the pickup layout. The Nighthawk Custom Reissue gives you a mini-humbucker in the neck, a single-coil in the middle, and a slanted bridge humbucker, which opens up a huge spread of tones. You can get warm neck tones, snappy single-coil-style clarity, thicker humbucker drive, and plenty of in-between textures that most Les Paul-style guitars simply do not offer. It is one of those guitars that makes you keep flipping through positions because every setting has a usable voice.

Playability is excellent. It has a recent setup, spot-on intonation, and the fretboard is in great shape. The guitar feels fast, comfortable, and easy to move around on, with a nice balance between familiar Gibson-inspired feel and something a little more modern and flexible. It sounds incredible plugged in, with a lot of tonal range for blues, rock, classic rock, worship, studio work, or anyone who wants one guitar that can cover a surprising amount of ground.

It comes with a hardshell Epiphone case. The case has definitely seen better days cosmetically, but it still adds a lot of value and gives the guitar a proper home.
