I’ve handled a lot of Les Paul Customs over the years, and even among Epiphones, there’s usually a noticeable gap between “nice” and “this feels like the real deal.” This particular one leans hard into that second category.

This is a 2020–present Epiphone Les Paul Custom in Ebony, and it carries that classic Custom presence in a way that punches well above its weight. The gloss black finish with the gold hardware is timeless—clean, bold, and unmistakably premium. In person, it has that same visual authority you expect when you see a Custom on stage… it just looks right from every angle.

But where this one really wins is in how it feels and responds. It’s got that solid, planted Les Paul feel with a smooth, comfortable neck that makes it easy to settle into. The stock ProBucker pickups deliver a great mix of warmth and clarity—rich on the low end, smooth in the highs, and capable of handling everything from clean, rounded tones to full, driven sounds without getting muddy. It’s one of those guitars that doesn’t fight you—it just plays exactly how you want it to.

This particular example is about as clean as they come. It’s in excellent, like-new condition with little to no visible wear. It’s been freshly set up with new strings, the neck is straight, and everything feels dialed in right where it should be. You can tell it hasn’t been bounced around—it’s been kept right.

It also comes with the original Epiphone gig bag and full case candy, which is always a nice touch and adds to that “complete” feel when it arrives.

What stood out to me

Classic Les Paul Custom aesthetic — Ebony + gold is always a winner
ProBucker pickups — warm, articulate, and versatile
Excellent condition — extremely clean, close to like new
Smooth playability — comfortable neck and easy response
Dialed-in setup — straight neck, fresh strings, ready to go
Complete package — includes Epiphone gig bag and case candy

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!

Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
