This Epiphone Les Paul Custom has that classic tuxedo-style Custom look — aged Alpine White body, black guard, gold hardware, bound body, block inlays, and the heavier Les Paul personality that makes these feel more substantial than a standard beginner-level Epiphone. It has the right visual presence immediately: clean, classy, and a little worn-in in a way that gives it character instead of making it feel abused.
The cream finish has aged nicely and pairs really well with the gold hardware and black plastics. There’s some natural patina on the hardware, which fits the look of the guitar, and the overall presentation is still very sharp. The body is in very good condition with some light rash on the back and a wear spot in the paint along the side of the headstock, both of which are pictured. Aside from those cosmetic spots, it’s a very clean guitar overall with no major damage or anything that affects playability.
The neck is in excellent condition, the fretboard is clean, and the frets are in excellent shape. It has fresh strings, polished frets, and an oiled fretboard, so it feels clean and ready under the hands. Intonation is spot on, the setup is solid, and it plays well up and down the neck.
Tonally, the neck pickup is loud, punchy, and full, with that thick Les Paul-style warmth you’d expect. The bridge pickup is currently lower in output than the neck pickup and may need adjustment, so I’m pricing the guitar accordingly. Electronics have been tested and everything works as expected, but I want to be transparent about the bridge pickup volume balance.
What stood out to me:
- Classic Les Paul Custom look with aged white finish
- Gold hardware with nice natural patina
- Bound body and neck
- Block inlays
- Excellent neck condition
- Excellent fret condition
- Fresh strings
- Polished frets and oiled fretboard
- Spot-on intonation
- Plays well overall
- Neck pickup is loud, punchy, and full
- Light back rash and headstock side wear are pictured
- Bridge pickup is lower in output and may need adjustment
- Priced accordingly
This is a great-looking Les Paul Custom with a lot of life left in it. It has the right feel, the right look, and a strong neck pickup voice, with the bridge pickup note already factored into the price. A solid player-grade Custom that looks killer without carrying collector-piece anxiety.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and fully insured via Reverb Safe Shipping.
⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
