Out of the hundreds of guitars I’ve owned, this one lands easily in the top five for both sound and playability. The resonance is unreal, the P90s are alive and dynamic, and it just has that “Casino magic” that makes you not want to put it down.
This is a Japanese-made Elitist, which already puts it a notch above most production guitars. It’s been upgraded with Gotoh Magnum locking tuners, a Frequensator tailpiece, Dunlop Straplok buttons, and a few cosmetic touches that give it a more refined feel. The setup is spot on—low action, no buzzing, and a neck that feels right at home the second you grab it.
Full transparency: it did have a headstock repair in the past, professionally done and solid as a rock. I bought it that way and it’s never given me a reason to think twice about it. If anything, it’s the reason this one can be priced way below what a clean Elitist would run, even though it plays just as good (if not better).
It’s in very good condition overall and has clearly been loved. If you’ve been looking for an Elitist Casino to play and not just collect, this is one of those rare chances to get the right guitar without overpaying.
