This 2004 Epiphone Ace Frehley Signature Les Paul is one of the earlier Korean-made versions, and it has the whole look that makes these instantly recognizable—the Heritage Cherry Sunburst over a nicely figured top, three cream DiMarzio humbuckers, Ace’s signature at the 12th fret, and the full Les Paul Custom-style binding.
This one weighs 9.39 lbs on my scale, which feels right for this style of Les Paul. The neck has some substance to it without feeling overly bulky, and the setup is excellent. Action is low, intonation is spot on, and the frets were recently polished. There’s still plenty of life left in them, and it feels really smooth under the fingers.
The three original DiMarzio pickups are a huge part of the personality of these guitars. They’re hot, punchy, and have that compressed hard-rock response you expect from an Ace model. All electronics have been fully tested and are working properly.
Condition is Very Good, especially considering this guitar is now over 20 years old. The top still presents really well and the flame comes through beautifully. The neck and backside are both exceptionally clean. There are some normal small marks from use, including a few impressions and light scratches around the side near the output jack. The plastic jack plate also has a crack running from one of the mounting screws toward the jack, which is clearly pictured. There are no headstock or neck breaks or repairs.
The guitar is all original, odor-free, and the truss rod functions properly with room in both directions. The fretboard has also been cleaned and conditioned.
Includes the original Epiphone hard case.

The photos shown are real photographs of this exact guitar. I do not use AI-generated imagery, replacement backgrounds, or image manipulation to misrepresent the condition of my guitars. What you see is the instrument you’ll receive.
Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and fully insured via Reverb Safe Shipping.
⏳ Quick note: These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 3–7 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.
Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.
