This is one of those guitars that instantly feels like more than just another Les Paul. The 2000 Epiphone Ace Frehley Signature Les Paul has the look, the attitude, and the punch you’d want from an Ace-inspired model, and this one presents beautifully for its age. The Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish has that bold, stage-ready glow with a flame top that really jumps in the light — bright amber through the center, deep red around the edges, and plenty of character in the figuring.

The whole guitar has a killer rock-and-roll presence: cream pickup rings, gold speed knobs, multi-ply binding, lightning bolt-style fretboard inlays, and the Ace Frehley headstock graphic that makes these immediately recognizable. It has the full triple-humbucker layout, giving it a bigger, more aggressive voice than a standard two-pickup Les Paul setup. Plugged in, it has a lot of bass, punch, and authority — especially with gain. It does that thick, heavy rock thing extremely well, but still has enough clarity and character to keep the notes from getting muddy.

Condition is excellent overall, especially considering this is a 2000 model. There are a couple superficial dings, including one on the side and one on the back, but nothing that takes away from how strong this guitar presents. The neck is in excellent shape, the fretboard is clean, the electronics test perfectly, the intonation is spot on, and it has had a recent setup. It plays great and feels ready to go right out of the case.

Weight is 8.33 pounds on my scale.

What stood out to me:

  • Fantastic looking Heritage Cherry Sunburst flame top
  • Original pickup setup with a huge, punchy rock voice
  • Triple-humbucker layout gives it a bigger tonal range than a standard Les Paul
  • Lightning bolt inlays and Ace Frehley headstock graphic give it serious collector appeal
  • Recent setup with spot-on intonation
  • Excellent overall condition for its age
  • Comes with the original Epiphone hardshell case

The original Epiphone hardshell case is included.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
