I’ve handled a handful of the newer Tom DeLonge Starcasters at this point, and I’ll say it straight—this particular one is exactly why they’ve been getting so much attention. Fender absolutely nailed the formula here, and in Shell Pink like this… it hits different.

The satin Shell Pink finish has that perfect soft, almost muted tone until the light catches it—then it just comes alive. It’s clean, smooth, and honestly one of the better examples of this finish I’ve seen. What really sets this one apart though is that blink-182 decal. I was fully expecting to peel it off when I got it, but whoever installed it knew exactly what they were doing—it’s clean, straight, and looks like it belongs there. It gives the guitar a little bit of attitude without feeling forced… like a subtle nod rather than a loud statement.

Condition-wise, this one’s been exceptionally well kept. No abuse, no surprises—just a clean, dialed-in instrument that feels barely played. The frets are in great shape, hardware is spotless, and everything functions exactly as it should.

In hand, this is where the modern Starcaster really separates itself. The semi-hollow body has a ton of natural resonance—you feel it immediately when you hit a chord unplugged. There’s this airy, open character that you don’t get from a solid body, but it still stays tight and controlled.

The roasted maple neck with that gloss finish is ridiculously smooth—fast without feeling slippery. Fender really got this neck right. It’s comfortable, effortless, and just encourages you to keep playing.

Plugged in, it does exactly what you want a Tom DeLonge guitar to do. The single Seymour Duncan humbucker is all about output and clarity—tight low end, aggressive mids, and a top end that cuts without getting harsh. It absolutely rips through high gain, but still cleans up surprisingly well when you roll it back. Simple layout, but extremely effective.

This is one of those guitars that doesn’t try to do everything—it just does its thing incredibly well. Whether you’re actually gigging it or just want something that looks killer on a wall but still begs to be played, this one checks both boxes.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in—no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play. I personally inspect and test every guitar before it ships, making sure it’s in the exact condition I’d want to receive myself. These guitars come from me, not a shop—each one gets the kind of attention and care only a real guitar lover gives. Ships fast and insured.

⏳ Quick note
These guitars don’t usually sit. Most are purchased within 1–5 days, and I regularly hear from watchers after the listing has already sold. If this one’s on your radar, now’s the window!
