Here’s a clean 1996 Fender American Strat in Candy Apple Red Metallic with a rosewood fretboard — the classic combo that never gets old. This one’s held up beautifully for nearly 30 years. It’s in very good to excellent condition, with just a few light scratches that are hard to spot and some small bumps on the headstock.

The finish still shines, and there’s a cool bit of natural fade on the back contour where the red metallic transitions — looks killer in person. It’s also a 50th Anniversary model, marked with the commemorative Fender emblem on the back of the headstock.

The neck is straight, freshly setup, and plays clean all the way up. Intonation’s spot on, and the frets are in great shape for its age. It has upgraded Fender locking tuners.

Like all my guitars, this one’s been cared for and dialed in — no guesswork, no surprises, just a great instrument that’s ready to play.

Buying direct from me

I bought this guitar, inspected it, photographed it, dialed it in, and I'll be the one packing it. If something isn't right when it arrives, you're not filing a ticket — you're emailing the person who put it in the box.

Same guitar, same packing, same insurance, same 3-day return window you'd get anywhere else I list it. It just costs less here, because there's no platform fee in the price.

Questions before you buy? Ask me anything — more photos, a specific measurement, or anything the listing doesn't cover.
