They aren't Private Stock guitars, but they're built in limited dealer-selected runs using combinations of woods, finishes, and appointments that normally aren't offered on the regular production model. In this case, the biggest changes from a standard CE-24 are the \u003cb\u003e\u003cstrong\u003equilt maple top, ebony fretboard, and satin finish\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt \u003cb\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e7.31 lbs on my scale\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e, it feels balanced and comfortable without being overly light. The Pattern Thin neck is exactly what you'd expect from a CE — quick without feeling insubstantial. I measured it at approximately \u003cb\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e20.8mm at the 1st fret and 22.8mm at the 12th\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e, and with the current low action it feels effortless to move around on. The frets are excellent, the neck is straight, and intonation is spot on.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe original \u003cb\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePRS 85\/15 pickups\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e are a great match for this guitar. They have a lot of attack and clarity but still hit hard when you lean into them. This one feels very immediate and responsive, especially with gain, without getting muddy on the lower strings. The push\/pull tone control also splits the pickups, giving you six usable combinations from the two humbuckers.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe electronics have been fully tested and everything functions normally. The tremolo feels smooth, the locking tuners hold tune properly, and the truss rod functions correctly with adjustment room in both directions.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCondition is \u003cb\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eExcellent\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e. There are no repairs, finish cracks, checking, or notable dings. The satin top has a few extremely light pick marks that are more like handling marks than scratches and can really only be noticed when the light catches them.
